#1, it's kind of too late, the chances of Dave getting to work today are already shot.
#2, I LOVE rainy days...especially when Dave gets to be home.
But not when we have a trip planned to someplace like this....
A trip that was suppossed to happen on Friday, when Dave is normally off.
Dave's brother, Jason, and his family are going to be in Kansas City this weekend for a wedding. So we (us, Stef and her family, and gma and gpa) were all going to go up and stay at Great Wolf Lodge just so everyone can be together! Taylor and Mason just don't get to see their Michigan cousins enough.
We were suppossed to go on Friday....as long as it didn't rain this week. When it rains, Dave's crew makes up the rain day on Friday.
So, we are kind of bummed. Maybe something will still work out.
In the mean time, I think I'll go take a nap while the kids are sleeping...naps on rainy days are the BEST!

Hey there!! Just wanted you to know we were sitting in our room at Great Wolf Lodge. Can't wait for you to come tomorrow. I am pretty sure we will have a room all day. So your kids can take naps, etc. if they need. We are all sharing 1 room for the day---so not sure how quiet it will be, but at least there will be a room. I got your message, it's all good. I didn't say anything. See ya in the morning!!
