I've never had pink eye, nor have the kids.
I didn't really know what it looked like.
How do you get it?
Do you have to pick it up somewhere?
Today when they both woke up with eyes crusted over, and gunky stuff coming out of their eyes all day - I knew something was wrong.
Red, swollen eyes that hurt him. He can't stop rubbing them.
He screamed and screamed at nap time and I ended up having to hold him while he slept in my arms for his nap - I won't complain about that.
Taylor's eyes have lots of the same issues - but she doesn't look quite as bad. I hope she stays that way.
I think I have a small hint of it too - but maybe it's just my normal eye problems, I don't know.
So I guess we get to stay contained for a few days.
Will you pray that our little guy gets over this soon - at least the part that is hurting him and making him miserable.

Wash hands! Wash hands! Wash hands! It's very contagious...and no fun at all! Poor little guy. If he hadn't had a really bad cold before this started...it's probably bacterial rather than viral...which is actually a good thing. The antibiotic eye drops give relief for the bacterial kind very quickly! Hope it clears up soon.
Oh no! Poor little Mason...he looks so sad. Hope you all feel better soon.
I'll pray her a quick healing. It looks like it would be so uncomfortable. Lets hope it is gone soon!
My eyes started watering just from looking at those pics. Poor little guy!
Oh bummer! We've ALL had pink eye in our house except my son and it's ZERO fun. I have to concur with other commentators..wash hands, sheets, pillows, towels...everything because it spreads SO easily. Especially after you give the drops...scrub, scrub, scrub. Hope you're all on the mend soon!
Awe poor little guy!!! Pink is no fun, I pray he feels better soon. I agree wash your hands......lots!!!!
Oh gosh...I was the queen of pink eye when I taught K-1. Haven't had it since I quit! Hope he feels better soon. It's awful.
Poor little guy! He looks so sad! (and in that first picture... he looks SO MUCH like Dave! Minus the pink eyes.)

Oh, poor little guy! That breaks my heart! Hope things are getting better for you all. Enjoy the extra cuddle time :)
