cousins and the pumpkin patch

While Dave's sister and her hubby were in Detroit for the half marathon for Team Sydney,

we got to watch the cousins for part of the weekend.

We took them all to the pumpkin patch.

Ages 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, and plus that one in my tummy.

We definitely got some odd looks and even some comments as people scanned our clan of kids and then looked at my stomach.

I would like to say it's because we look so young and fabulous that there is NO WAY we could have that many kids. I'll just let myself believe that.

 yes, definitely a little shocked I got them all looking and smiling at the same time - that doesn't usually happen.

 And since I didn't make it out of there without the "are you trying to steal a pumpkin under there" comment...we thought this was a fitting picture.

We love Papa's Pumpkin Patch - it's free and there's so much to do!

We just had to draw the line at paying $3 each to take this many kids into the corn maze.

We let them all pick a small pumpkin instead.
