Branson Trip - Silver Dollar City

AHHHH, so nice to have hookups to season passes at Silver Dollar City! Thanks Mom and Dad!
It's especially nice when we really don't know how long the kids will last...those high prices would be hard to pay!
It was a gorgeous day for the park....overcast and a little on the cooler side.

We started on the boat ride at the Flooded Mine....we rode this last year too, but this year Taylor could hold her own gun! It was heavy though, so she got some help most of the time...trying to shoot at all the targets.

Then we headed straight for the kiddy-ride area.
This was Mason's first time to ride the rides! Last year, he was being carried around like this...

Whoah, hold on little guy!

What a blast they were having! It is SOOOOOO much fun watching our kiddos have SOOOOOO much fun!

We realized that there were a few rides that she could do alone at 36 inches or with an adult. This was one she would ride with an adult.

Very much an adult ride

but she LOVED it!!!!

I am quite impressed that she did so well. I was on this ride too and I thought it was a crazy ride....I was laughing hysterically (that's what I do on rides that I'm having a blast on) and wondering how in the world could she NOT be scared being so high up and going so fast.

Here are just a few more pics of Taylor

I foresee one of these umbrellas coming her way in the future....

My sister and I each got one of these here at SDC when we were little...and of course Taylor LOVED them too!

Here's how Mason ended this day-trip....well, after about an hour of non-stop screaming because he got pushed way beyond his limits.

going..............................................going..........................................gone.

If only he would have done this a little sooner....BEFORE the major meltdown in which NO ONE could get him to stop crying.....then we could have laid him in the stroller and attempted to stay longer. Oh well. That's why we're glad to get in for free (or virtually free).

When we were little, Jess and I got frilly umbrellas at SDC, too!!! They painted our names on them and everything. :) Looks like you had a nice vacation!
