After my mom watched the kiddos for the weekend while we were on our small group trip, she stayed an extra day for a little bit of fun.

We made it to the zoo for the last time before our pass expired. FINALLY, to see the new tiger exhibit.



Such amazing creatures. I think they are fascinating!

I'm not sure what I was thinking. It was already nice and humid outside (we had worn layers because it was cool in the morning but we hadn't stripped them off yet), and then I go and suggest we go through the jungle.

By the time we made it out, I was dripping wet of sweat. It was pretty much miserable in there and I will remember NOT to suggest that again unless it's November.



This colorgul guy was just chilling and had several people standing within inches away from him.

It was great having Mima here to go to the zoo with us!
Now our pass is expired. We'll wait till it's not so hot anymore to get another one.
