I've taken LOTS of pictures with my new camera!

Lots are just trash, as I've been playing with settings, exploring as much as I can.

Obviously I still have lots to learn.

But I figured I'd share some with you.

But I'll be honest...I've been a little nervous.

Nervous that you've been waiting for some super amazing looking photos.

But even though my camera is new and AWESOME.

The operator is still just little old me.

Just trying to take in and learn what all I have at my fingertips now.

And waiting for some great "photography" friends to share some expertise! :-)

CUTE because my subject is so cute. It's our nephew Jaden.

He came to eat lunch and play this past week while he was staying at Grandma's a few blocks away.

I was playing with my camera while the kids were playing and I asked him if he wanted me to take pictures of him, which he willingly and excitedly said YES!  I wish my kiddos were that easy to photograph!

Jaden is almost 5.

And headed to Kindergarten in the fall.

He is so good with Mason.

It was so cute watching them play.
