the christmas party of all christmas parties

 Our small group Christmas party this year definitely topped the charts.

We probably have to credit lots of the fun factor to a few characters who can liven up any party.

Meet Ryan.

We didn't vote, but I'm pretty sure he won the ugly sweater party.  He didn't even wear a Christmas sweater, but I think he still won.  He wore his grandpa's sweater. And decided to ditch the undershirt about a block from the Goods' house.  We're not sure if we are glad he did that or not.

We ate lots of food.

And then had a white elephant gift exchange.

The boys threw wrapping balls across the room the whole time.

And almost knocked over Olivia's Christmas tree.

Someone got a lighter as part of their gift.

And someone else got some plug ins (the spray kind).

Combine all these things and you have some silly boys who are quite entertained.

One time is never enough.

And then Bill's hand caught on fire. He was okay.

And then they wanted to go outside to throw fireballs.

And then throw eggs, long distance.
They were given only a limited number of eggs from Bill's chickens.
But then they came back in and tried to buy more.

Us girls played Catch Phrase instead.

We played some other games too.

Get the cracker from your forehead to your mouth with no hands.

Matt and Rachel rocked it.

Okay, well, Matt did anyway.

I can't show too many pictures of our next game.
Couples passed an ornament ball back and forth from neck to neck, with no hands, and you had to spin in between.

It looks WAY worse than it was.

I'll give you a SMALL sneak peak.

Oh, oops. I didn't mean to include that one.

This is the one I meant to post.

 But these two got carried away so I can't show you anymore.

 At this point in the night I was a teeny bit glad that Dave wasn't there with me.
I had an excuse to sit out and be the time keeper and picture-taker.
And laugh.
