I especially love it when the snow keeps Dave at home with us!
We got both on Friday - snow and Dave at home!
I never heard the exact amount we got - maybe 4-6 inches?
Saturday night was our night to watch our niece and nephews, while their mommy and daddy hosted a KU/KState party.
So we had a party of our own!
These boys were quite into the game the whole 2nd half.
The girls decided Sleeping Beauty was much more interesting, so they went downstairs.
Unfortuneately, the night didn't end up as we all would have liked. But it was a GREAT game!
Overtime games are always fun.
Games in which I actually jump up and scream (multiple times) are always fun!
Games in which 5 kids are chanting K-S-U! are REALLY fun!
We made it to church again with 5 kids, in 2 cars. Feeling pretty successful.
Then it was suggested to us by the PROFESSIONAL parents of 5 to give Walmart or a restaurant a try.
We decided we felt pretty good about making it to church with all of them, and we didn't want to ruin that feeling of success.
We could have done a restaurant.
And Walmart.
I'm just sure of it.
We have a rotation going with Dave's sister in which we watch each other's kids overnight every other month. It really has been fun when we have all 5 kids.
But the nights we have no kids are even more fun!
