If you thought the bridal shower was fancy...wait till you see the main event.
UH-mazing!
UH-mazing!
It was our first destination wedding. And of all the amazing places they could have chosen, Adam and Jenny picked Cabo.
Dave and I honeymooned in Cabo and on our way home from our honeymoon we decided we needed to go back there on our 10th anniversary. But then life happens, other expenses come up, it doesn't make it high on the priority list, and years pass way faster than we ever imagined.
Let's face it...if it hadn't been for Adam and Jenny, I'm guessing we wouldn't have gone back on our 10th year.
So 3 months after our 10th anniversary, we were headed back to our honeymoon place to celebrate the beginning of Adam and Jenny's marriage.
We decided we'd celebrate Adam and Jenny for the first 4 days and then stay 3 extra days and celebrate us.
So after our flight out of Wichita was delayed, causing us to miss our connecting flight to Cabo and having to spend the night in Dallas...we made it to Cabo...24 hours late.
Boooooooooo. But I wasn't nearly as upset as the girls who were on our same flights and were only going to Cabo for the weekend. Missing 24 hours was quite a bit bigger of a deal to them. But we did have to miss this fun welcome soiree complete with roasted marshmallows on the beach.
We started off at the Cabo Surf Hotel....where nearly all 80ish guests for the wedding were staying.
We checked in and walked out onto our balcony... it was pretty unbelievable.
We got settled in just in time to get dressed for the rehearsal dinner.
This night started the most fabulous food vacation in our entire lives.
And then I got to work on some decorations. My job was to make a tassle garland for the photobooth backdrop and the bar cart.
I had to finish it up in our room before I could hang it. Dave was thrilled as you can see.
It was fun to be over in the reception area to see things being decorated.
Jenny did every last detail of the day on her own, other than someone who was in charge of actually getting it all set up. She's incredibly talented.
Then we hit the beach until it was time to shower for the wedding.
My date was pretty good looking.
There were 4 of us Pi Phis there...we were the Kansas crew. Everyone else was pretty much from California. We tried not to stick out too much. ;-)
This is one of my favorite ever photobombs!
Then came the most beautiful reception I've ever been to...
Absolute perfection.
Best. wedding. ever.
It was such an honor to be a part of it!
