If you don't know about the big remodel going on at our house, check out this and this.

Here's the latest...

The wall and fireplace (along with a closet) are officially gone.
We got to stare at these wires hanging for a few days, and even still had to turn the lights on with these hanging switches.

Thanks to our great friend Brent, and his expertise, the electrical work is now all done. We had 4 or 5 switches for different lights in this wall, so everything had to find a new home.


We LOVE the feeling of the big open room!!! Our mess is all cleaned up, we just have some furniture and decorations that probably won't go back into place until everything is done.

Dave plans to patch up the big hole in the ceiling this week and then begin to raise the sunken living room floor, so the floor is all one level.

We've now just gotta figure out the whole fireplace plan. I've been searching pictures online trying to get ideas.
