I wasn't sure Mason would be able to ride anything. I asked what the restriction on height was, and they said, there wasn't really one for the kiddy rides, as long as they could hold on.
Well, I wasn't really sure what he'd do. At Silver Dollar City, he didn't hold on very well, but those rides were a lot bigger and the handlebar was further away.
So we gave it a try. The worker said they could stop it if he didn't. And since we were pretty much the only ones there, it was worth a shot.

Wait, did I just say "WORTH a shot"?
HA!
He sure was cute and although he just lounged sideways and didn't hold on at all, he stayed put.
But I am not sure if "WORTH IT" is the right thing to say.
$2.50 per ride....total rip off!

We started with 5 tickets, thinking that would be good enough for Taylor. Not realizing we would have 2 riding.
Note to self....5 tickets=$12.50=a measly 10 minutes of fun for 2 kids

Taylor used the last ticket to ride by herself!

It was fun, and we may even do it again....BUT, total rip off! I'm not sure what we'll do when our kids are old enough to realize that riding on 3 rides just isn't fun enough.

We talked our kids out of going this year, saying we needed to save our $$ for our trip to the Kiddie Park in OK next week. The rides there are 25 cents! We told them we could go to the carnival and they could each go on 3-4 rides, or we could go to the Kiddie Park and they could ride everything! They went for it! :)
we thought about going-good thing we didn't! plus, i think you had to have a button too to get in...?
at least they had fun and you got some cute pictures!
yeah, we went last year. huge rip-off! but something new, I suppose.
It looks like they had a great time. How old are your kids? I have a daughter, Taylynn 31 months and a son Preston 15 months.
We look our kids to Worlds of Fun, an amusement park and they LOVED it, for the most part.
It is nice to find you blog, really cute!
Caroline
We took Hannah to the State Fair last year. That is expensive too. In Green Bay, they have a kiddie park that is way cheap. I think it might be 25 cents too. Too bad there isn't anything like that here. Wonder where this place in OK is that Amy is talking about?
try going with five!
they are so excited to go and it looks so terribly unsafe...but we do it.
i have to look away on most rides because i am sure they are all going to burst into flames at any second!
so unsafe.
annie was only cool with the ferris wheel...those horsies were waaay too scary. HA!
and why don't we ever see any "normal" people like you guys when we go? it's was every weirdo in town and US! (maybe we fit right in??)
