For now, I need your opinions.
My friend Bethany is giving me a blog makeover! I've been thinking about getting a new, customized look for awhile now, and was SO excited when I found out that she'd help me! More on this later.
So here's what I need from you...
I am considering changing the name to my blog. When I first set my blog up, I just needed a name, fast. I'm all about songs....so for some reason "From our Front Porch Looking In" kept sticking in my mind. So I went with it. I don't LOVE it. Some days I like it. Some days I don't like it at all. But the problem is...WHAT ELSE!?!?! I am SO not creative in this category.
Bethany actually came up an idea for me...she seriously is one of the most creative people I know! "Having a BALL with the Balzers" It's fun...and definitely unique. I took a spin off it and came up with "Life's a BALL with the Balzers" But I'm just not sure.
So....give me your opinions....which blog name should I pick....OR do you have a new idea for me!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
So here are the option thus far:
1. Keep it the same "From our Front Porch Looking In"
2. Having a Ball with the Balzers
3. Life's a Ball with the Balzers
4. OTHER...I would love something that stems from a bible verse or something else with a deeper meaning.
So let me hear your opinions! I have to make a decision SOON!!!!
And just so I don't bore you with a post with no pictures...here's us with our ONE YEAR OLD!

I always thought your blog title was adorable. I could never think of anything like that, but I really love your version...Life's a Ball with the Balzer's. At any rate, I read it everyday and truely love everything you have to say!
It's your blog so you need to choose what you LOVE. I do love the current title. The "front porch" title gives me warm fuzzies. Very comforting. In the old days, they would visit on the front porch, but alas, those days are mostly gone. Now we visit via blogs, e-mails, or at Walmart. (And of course, church, small groups too.) But sometimes you feel like change so if you want it, go for it!
I think what you have is pretty cute. I've been thinking about a name change myself, so I can relate - it's so hard to choose!! Here are some suggestions:
- The Balzer Blah, Blah, Blog.(I mean this in the nicest way possible. I think it would be cute, please don't be offended by that suggestion!!!!!)
- The Balzers: Bits and Pieces
- Keepin' it Real with the Balzers
I also like your idea... Life's a Ball with the Balzers.

OK, you don't know me...I'm Sharla, Julie Johnson's sister, and I link from blog to blog like CRAZY!! :) Anyway, I totally understand what you mean about wanting a change after coming up with something quickly--that's what I did, and mine is sooo boring! I like what you have, but if you want something else, my idea of something coming from a Bible verse would be "Life Abundantly" or something along those lines, from the last part of John 10:10. Good luck! Thinking of you as you plan for Thursday.

I like the title you have now! But, it's not my life or my blog!!!!!
I like your title as it is...you always loved that song & it fits so well.
Plus I've read stuff on how to keep your privacy while blogging and one big one is to not use your last name, but so many people do (like me!). And now that you have more people looking at your blog, I'd take that into consideration.
I love front porch looking in! You should keep it the same!
